PURPOSE

The Hope Lutheran Church Library is open to all members of our congregation and community. We seek to provide both print and non-print material to strengthen the educational work of the church, increase our knowledge of our own faith and others, enrich our worship life, provide information on social and economic issues, foster an appreciation of good books and deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ.

HOW TO USE THE CHURCH LIBRARY

hand

  1.  Take the card from the pocket in the book, DVD or CD.

  2.  Write your name and phone number on the first open line of the card. Write today’s date. Put the card in the charging tray.

  3.  Try to keep the book, DVD or CD for only three Sundays or less, to give everybody a chance.

  4.  When returning the book, DVD or CD, put it in the RETURN box. The Library Committee will put it back on the shelf.

  5.   There are two card files in the Library, so if you are looking for a particular book, DVD or CD, check either the Title or Author card file to see if it is available in the Library.
