Chili Cook-Off and Pumpkin Decorating
You are invited to attend Hope’s annual Chili Cook-off on Sunday, October 25th from 5 – 7 pm. Bring a pot of your favorite chili to see if this is your year to be the top vote-getter! If chili is not your thing, you can bring bread or dessert.
Wear a Halloween costume and have fun decorating a pumpkin!
Fall Festival
The Fall Festival returns on October 10th, 2026 from 12 noon to 4:00 pm. Free activities include face painting from noon – 2:00 pm, the Balloon guy from 1:00 – 3:00 pm, pony rides/petting zoo from 2-4 pm, and children’s games from noon – 4:00 pm. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, pretzels, and desserts will be served during the entire festival for no charge, but a free will offering will be collected.
Blessing of the Animals
On October 4th, people are invited to bring their pets (well-behaved if on a leash) to either service for the blessing of the animals. Both services will be held indoors.
Women's Retreat
Mark your calendar to save the date – November 7th from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. The retreat will include Bible study, worship, conversation, journaling, and lunch. Come and prepare your heart for Advent as we reflect on Hope, Peace, Joy & Love together.
