Vacation Bible School
The theme for this year’s VBS is Operation Restoration – Mending God’s World. Hope is partnering with UCC Friedens again this year, and VBS will be held at Hope in the evenings. It runs July 15-18th from 5:30 – 8 pm and supper will be provided. Activities include crafts, games, music, Bible stories, food, and science.
Our kids can be menders of the universe!
But, you think, they’re just kids! How can they be menders of the whole universe? At Operation Restoration, they will practice being universe menders, because that’s exactly how God made all of us. Your kids have been given the power to feed, heal, forgive, pray, and rest—essential tools to help repair all that has gone wrong in the world. They’ll learn more about their mending powers at Operation Restoration Vacation Bible School!
All kids who are ages 4 years through rising 6th grade are invited to grow in faith as they play, learn, sing, and work to be menders of God’s creation. We are also accepting youth and adult volunteers! Sign up using the forms below. Participants need to have a registration form and also a media release submitted. The pdf forms are fillable using a keyboard. They are best opened and downloaded with the Chrome browser on a computer. You may have trouble being able to open and fill them out on a mobile device. You can download Adobe (free download at https://get.adobe.com/reader/) and use it to open and fill the forms, then save and email the completed form to vbshopelutheran@gmail.com.

If you are unable to fill them digitally, you can print the forms, handwrite the information, scan or photograph, and email the digital file to vbshopelutheran@gmail.com or drop the paper copy off at the church office. Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 12 pm.
